Your trembling thoughts were always so twisted,
but you always kept your hands in fists as if,
you were trying so hard to say, to scream you were holding on,
but the words you shouted out loud said otherwise,
and god knows you shouted these words for so long.
I would attempt to help you tranquil your feelings,
and those tears that fell,
you knew it was unappealing but you couldn't stop,
because the pain was so overwhelming,
and it was nonstop, never-ending,
and you got so sick of pretending,
that everything you felt inside was a lie.
Your mind is plagued and you're too scared to admit,
so you shut off by getting high, digging you deeper in the pit,
you dug yourself, hoping someone hears your plea,
to be happy, to be your old self.
