Blue is everywhere,
It empowers like a tyrant,
Hands of coral wave peacefully,
A home for many; independent
When all goes dark in the night,
Shadows loom and jaws snap,
No sound is made as all slumbers in fear,
Of the death- bringing shark; a trap
Many intriguing secrets hide,
People and objects long history,
Sunk years ago into the depths,
Of utter, forgotten mystery
Creatures of all shapes,
Colours and sizes too,
All have in common,
That life is in the tropical north blue.
