If You Only Viewed The Night As Dark

If you only viewed the night as dark, you’d never see the stars
And if all you felt was sadness, you’d be left with a lot of scars
So open your eyes
Let light arise
And allow those thoughts to become memoirs

Because once you’ve seen the beauty of the sun
Your tangled insides will become undone
So don’t be afraid
Step out of the shade
Only then has your life really begun

Go frolic in fields, and lay in the sand
Look life in the eye, and take it by the hand
Live it free
Just let it be
And when you fall, on two feet you will land
