Here In The Woods

Here in the woods dark and deep,
Where sounds fade to silence and nightmares creep,
Where demons taunt and dreams can't speak,
Some of your worst fears you will meet.
Here in the woods you take a chance,
Where beasts leap and monsters dance,
Follow the path or lose your way,
It's up to you which game you play.
Here in the woods life is the prize,
Follow the rules or meet your demise,
In the twilight it's hard to know,
Which direction you should go.
Here in the woods stories are told,
Of those who are trapped before they grow old,
These fabled woods hold the key,
For those who dream to be set free.
