Silence
Is so much louder in the darkness of night
Raspy whispers turn into piercing screams
I try to holler at the arrogant, silent nothing
But silence floods my mouth
Motion
Is almost nonexistent in this world
Everything is still, lifeless
Except for the spitting rain at my window
And my heartbeat as it slows
Time
Is almost out of my grasp
Is almost ceasing
Until finally the darkness crawls in through the corners of my eyes
And everything comes to a halt
Silence
