The world is precious as gold,
We just don’t know how wise it is,
Loggers cut down all the forest,
And only the luckiest bird lives,
Dodos are extinct, we take the blame,
But it occurred so long ago,
We don’t remember the last one’s name,
We hurt the world to make life easier,
But it only becomes shorter.
Why can’t we just enjoy real flowers,
Instead of admiring statues of Greek,
They cut the world down to become celebrities,
So the true stars don’t receive a peek.
