Once upon a time there lived a boy. His name was Allegro. Allegro was a poor boy. He had no home, no family and no food. He had a father who looked after him once but there was a fire at his work and Allegro was sure his father had died. He was starving for months living on little bits of food he could steal at the market place. Then Allegro tried to steal a whole loaf of bread from the baker. Suddenly Allegro saw the police, "Aahhhhhhhh!" Allegro cried. The next day Allegro tried to steal again but Allegro got caught,
"Help! Help! Help me, please," he said. When he was in jail he remembered that his dad gave him a key. Allegro tried the key and got out of the cage. He thought he would go and see if his dad was really dead. Allegro decided to go to the hospital first. His dad had been there but was better now. Allegro ran home but before he got there he saw his dad in the field. He went to his dad and they spent time together and had a picnic. They were so happy to be together again.
