Dear society,
The things I knew, when I was young.
Some were true, and some were wrong.
Things that are true is that life isn’t perfect and I’m not too.
Things that were wrong is that boys are better and girls aren’t strong.
Girls were taught to sit down, be polite and nice.
To not speak up or they will pay the price.
Boys were taught to not play with dolls or dresses.
If they didn’t pay for meals then they are simply hot messes.
You made us stereotypes, you made us driven.
However that does not mean all is forgiven.
A lot was wrong and a lot was true.
But all of them were taught by you.
