Things could have been different
But yet they choose to stay
They fight for Queen and Country
And never they betray

The bullets were being fired
As my heart began to pound
The echoes of the gun fire
Overtook every other sound

Why do people fight with their lives
Just for the taste of Victory?
For power, religion, greed or wealth
Or just for Military

As silence overcame the fields
They thought the war was over
But what they didn't know,
Was that the war was getting older.
