Dad
You are my guardian angel walking me through life.
You think your jokes are funny but really they’re strife.
You are as strong as a brick wall,
Cuts, scratches, scares, don’t bother you at all.
You are the news reporter when you get home.
You tell me about your trip to Rome.
You are like the rainbow when the clouds come out.
You went to the UK
For a holiday.
While you were away,
We went to Melbourne for a few days.
You love cricket, that’s the way it is and I can’t take that away from you.
