Dawn

The sunrise is almost here,
The darkness will be gone, so do not fear.
The sky turns a pearly white,
And then over the mountains there comes a bit of light.
The birds begin to sing,
as they stretch their wings.
I give an almighty yawn,
And say hello to the dawn.
From dawn to dusk the new day leaves,
Night is waiting for me to dream.
