Pinkie, fingers, arms and legs,
We are all aligned like pegs.
Technique matters so drop down low,
Just jump in and go with the flow.
First position, second and fifth,
Some people might think that ballet's a myth.
Down and swagger, no-one cares,
A little bit like riding a wild mare.
Jete, pirouette, developpes too,
A leap, a spin and rhythmic tap shoes.
Sweating, panting, everyone smiles,
Hip-hops not like ballet where you’re always single file.
When nothing else matters, dance is great fun,
Music pumping loud ‘till the lesson is done.
Hip-hop, ballet, tap, Irish and jazz,
All different dance styles have just a little pizazz.
