I miss you.
I'm so distant from you.
But in my heart is where you'll always be,
even when you're never complete.
I miss your dirty streets,
when once they filled with nothing but peace.
I miss the scent of your smell,
when the summer came and where the flowers dwell.
I miss the warmth and the safety I felt within you,
even though I knew it weren't safe with you.
I miss the flaws in you,
because I know there's more than that in you.
I see you on the news,
the pain you go through.
always another fresh wound,
with dead bodies all over around.
