Fading Away

He is the only one that knows
She is fading away
Little by little, bit by bit
How can no one else see?
How she grows so thin, like paper
She doesn’t let anyone touch her
Except him
He is gentle, he is careful
But he is scared she might break
His heart aches for her
And his hands miss her curves
Why won’t anyone help?
He is losing her, he is losing hope
For he is the only one that knows
She is fading away
Little by little, bit by bit
