Sitting in the silence of the black black room,
Where shadows line the walls in the dark dark gloom,
A person in my coat, an animal at the door,
Prowling about near the dark desk drawer,

Sitting in the silence of the black black room,
Where floorboards creak in the dark dark gloom
A stomach rumbles, a torch gives a flash,
Lighting the room as cymbals crash.

Sitting in the silence of the bright bright room,
Cuddled up in bed in your own bedroom,
Stars are out, the electricity is on,
I look up at the sky, the storm is finally gone
