O the tragedy, O the sin
O the cry of “Let’s join in!”
O the death, O the fall
Of all the men who died for war

O the blood that falls so thick
Upon the sandy shore
O the deaths of many men
Who’s cries we hear no more

O the men that made it home
Who live on to this day
O the things they left behind
But never really go away

O the tragedy, O the sin
O the cry of “Never again!”
O the things that those men saw
O the horror that is war
