Look mom, look dad!
Can you please look at my story?
It is about slugs eating their food.
I am waiting for you to say it is good.
Mom mumbles, grumbles, moans
Kitchen, cooking, laundry, phone
She does not even stop!
Looking, looking at his phone, his eyes are glued to it alone.
Dad please, hear my tone.
My reaction: half-disappointed, half-upset.
This happens every day.
All I want for you to do is stop, sit and look.
Look what I have done. I did it with a lot of sweat and fun.
It is not too late to fix this, this hurt rocking in my heart.
A kiss, a hug, a “sorry” is all it takes to win this boy.
So I can create more wonderful doodles, videos and stories.
