I sat on the beach and I opened my ears,
Closed my eyes and listened, listened to the silence.
My voice sang in harmony with the angry waves.
The wind howling in my ears suddenly stopped.
Everything went calm again.
Mother Nature got back in her bed, and left me all alone out here.
I touched the soft, cool sand slipping through my fingers,
As the sun dived in the sea like a smooth dolphin.
I shivered. Looked around. Not a beam of light left.
Everything was gone. I crunched into a ball
And stayed there. How long? I don't know. I never knew.
When I woke up, I was new. I had changed, grew.
