Wild Child

Why do you leave me so cold and alone?
Inside these tower walls I am confined,
While you lay buried below the stone,
Your haunting presence leaves me colourblind.
I remember how you used to hold me,
So close and comforting when you were there,
But now your gone and so is your beauty,
And now I sit here in your rocking chair.
Before the sparkle left your eyes, you smiled,
One last sweet smile, I will never forget,
You told me I was your very wild child,
Once those words were said I broke out a sweat.
I still am your wild child mother,
Please, please, don’t leave me and little brother.
