Friendship is the hand of light,
Reaching into the depths of the abyss,
Pulling you out.
It is the gold in the dirt,
Warmth in the cold,
The new life of hope in despair.
Friendship is the figure of belief beside you,
Together facing the storm through the rain and wind.
It spreads the smile on your face,
As its glow brightens the canvas of the dark black sky.
With open arms, embraces you tightly.
The source of strength, the caring heart you trust.
