Ready to ride, excitement and anticipation.
Was I willing? Should I go?
Panic in my dry mouth, butterflies in my stomach.
Waiting in line, my turn is next.
Brain saying no, body saying yes.
Climb in, seat belt on, wait to start.
Shacking with fear, panicked but excited too; here we go!
Up and down, round and round at lightning pace.
Screaming wildly, darkness in the tunnel.
Hoping it was nearly done, catapulting through the air.
I'm going to be sick, one last slippery turn ahead.
How much longer can I last?
Screeching wheels as we brake to a halt.
It's all over.
What an epic ride.
Jump off and join the queue, I'm going to ride again!
