It’s hard to fit in as a Griffin,
It’s hard to be different of course.
When your front end’s a bird and you back end’s a cat,
And you’re roughly the size of a horse.
I found the great eagle out flying,
He said that I ought to be feared.
The lion admired my fabulous tail,
But both thought the other end weird.
I did see if I could fit in,
With unicorns, kelpies and more.
But gossip and chatter and bragging non-stop;
I found it a bit of a bore.
I know this is bad to do,
But I simply walked away,
You see fitting in is just not my thing;
I’ll find my very own way.
