Christmas Time

It’s the birthday of God’s son,
Now we know Christmas has begun!
Santa’s getting ready preparing his sleigh,
The reindeers are resting, eating their hay.
Whilst I was decorating the brand new tree,
My heart was racing with glee!
We put up all the Christmas lights,
Before the sunset and it became night.
On Christmas Eve, we love to eat,
All the fresh and juicy meat!
So far above I could see,
A shimmering star that reflected on me.
Our hearts were hoping with lots of joy,
To get our favourite Christmas toy!
I was waiting on my chair,
Then Santa Claus said, “Hello there.”
