My homework’s not done,
They’ve given us a tonne!
As it's due tomorrow,
My heart is full of sorrow.
I can’t hand it in, Miss.
It was all because of my sis.
She stuck it to the highest ceiling,
Without caring about how I was feeling.
It was the family goldfish,
He ate it against all my wish.
It gobbled my work without thought,
Leaving me immensely distraught.
I’ll try to hand it in on Monday,
Along with a big, beautiful bouquet.
But I do have a pet bee,
So there is no guarantee.
