We Are One People

They walked these paths before us,
They loved this land before us,
They planted these seeds before us,
Who are they?
We made these roads atop their paths,
We built our homes atop their land,
We made dams atop their nurtured seeds,
Who are we?
Together, the paths can be walked again,
Together, the land can be restored,
Together, more seeds can be planted,
When will together happen?
Australians can share paths and roads,
Australians can share land and structures,
Australians can plant seeds around dams,
Because, if anyone can, Australians can!
