It's a hard life in war, we can only eat canned beans! IT'S HORRIBLE, ESPECIALLY being a nurse, we have to try to stay alive as well as keeping others alive. I don't know why I wanted to go to war, I've got ZERO friends! But it's better without, because if they die or get injured, I'm not the sad one, but Australians and New Zealanders are getting hurt. When they get extremely sick, we can't help them. It's terrible because they have to suffer the pain.
There is no king beds, I bet the Turks have at least two or they would have king singles. I think the nurses should not have bunk beds because if somebody is rushed in, we have to climb down the ladders, well at least I do, it’s annoying because we try to be fast.
I absolutely hate war, so does everyone else. I hate it because there is only canned beans and water to eat and drink. I want to leave war because all I hear is gunshots, it's horrible. We only wear black leggings and white dresses.
I'm extremely furious because I haven't got any letters from my family, they probably think I died a month or two ago. So that is why I hate war so much.
