The Numbers Game

There are those that think that maths is lame,
Who choose to play a different game.
But one day, someday, maybe soon,
They’ll wish they learned a different tune.
We need our maths in daily life,
It helps to avoid financial strife.
Know your odds, get a loan,
Choose a plan, buy a phone.
Some formulas you’ll rarely use,
But you can learn them if you choose.
Irrational numbers ‘e’ and ‘pi’
Are less imaginary than I!
One hundred degrees, now that’s obtuse,
It seems there’s no hypotenuse.
There are those that think that maths is lame,
To some degree, it’s a numbers game.
