One day there was a little rainbow. It had a lot of colours in it. But one day the rainbow only had one colour in it.

That colour was red. A little boy asked his mum, 'Why is there only red in the rainbow?'
His mum didn't know why. So he asked his dad. His dad didn't know why either.

So they went home. The boy was still thinking about why the rainbow had red in it. Then he looked out the window and the rainbow had two colours in it. The colours were red and orange. Then he had an idea.

He drew a rainbow and stuck it on his window. But it flew off through the open window.
Suddenly, the rainbow was back. He was so happy.

Then it rained.
