Walk Along The Beach

Standing calmly on the shore
Feeling the water trickle between your toes
The ocean grasping the headland ferociously
Rough yet gentle
Loud yet peaceful
The waves cheekily pulling you in
Walking along the smooth, white sand
Breathing in the salty mist
Admiring as the deep blue water mirrors the orange sky
The wind blowing sand upon your legs ever so softly
Walking up the grassy path as you dread leaving
Wondering how something so normalised could be so extraordinary
