A Curious World

I once gazed up at the world
as the world stared down to me,
fulfilled with curiosity
and daringly free

I waited and watched
as the clouds turned to grey,
simply misconceived
I turned my back away

as rain washed past my window
I noticed something new,
something special I discovered
that rain has beauty too

and now I look down to the world
as the world looks up to me,
if you look a little closer
everyone has beauty
