Veil on her face, gone from the world, she’s only a little girl.
From playground to chapel grounds she was only a little girl,
Dreams to Nightmares she had lost hope in the world,
Her mum and dad are now her owners,
And she was product they were willing to sell,
Veil on her face, gone from the world, she’s only a little girl.
They snatched her up and took her,
And no one heard her screams, no one cared.
And her country can’t help me
BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO LAWS TO HELP HER
Veil on her face, gone from the world, she’s only a little girl.
Places far away it happens but they don’t know where she was
Because she was here in Australia and still nobody helped her they just wrapped her up and shipped her to her new husband.
Veil on her face, gone from the world, she’s only a little girl.
