Your eyes are a window from your soul to your screen,
nothing more nothing less.
A bright light blinding the direction in which you travel.
Where to turn, where to go?
Eye to eye, you don’t see the true me,
because ur stuck behind that veil of electronic poison,
hooked on a social media drug.
If you just glance, glimpse, peak, will you notice how I’ve changed,
how I’ve grown,
how you’ve drifted.
Just look up from that light, from that other world.
Join my world.
I see that that prison of a screen holds your mind in a cage,
and that I don’t have a key.
I thought we were writing a memorable novel together,
but it turns out I was only a chapter in your own brainwashed story.
