I am a child.
I am all I see,
The building I spend my time learning most of the day
The homework that lays piled up on my table
I am all I hear,
Wind blowing the trees in the park,
With the chatter of my friends that I hark.
I am all I feel,
The big, bouncy, rubber ball in my hand,
Which I may, or may not get in the hoop.
I am all I taste,
The curry that I eat
The spice that my tongue greets
I am all I think,
There’s a lot of things I want to accomplish in life
Make the world a fun but safe place for the unborn
The kids of the future are depending on the kids of the present
I am the kid of the present
And I am the woman of the future!
