Clouds cast an eye over the rigid statuette
And swelled, heavy with remorse.
Rain, to rinse the poison from the sprigs.
Wind, to wash over and through.
Carving paths, swirling drift.
To rid of Misery's calloused hands.
Skeletal, tired fingers.
The grass fluttered and so did she,
Tempest tossed.
Clad in sweat, raindrops and tattered tulle she gambolled,
Dropping pieces of herself.
A vacuous smile,
Through fleeting moments.
