The tranquility and aroma was calm
The undergrowth restful, no sign of harm
The flowers were a wild and velvety bloom
Twined with culture, an engaging perfume
But a sudden flicker of a thousand blues
Left a whirl of awe, among a crowd of muse.
Though that thing showed no face
Appearing with such poise, yet coming from no place
It's radiant wings, were elegant and pure
The forest wondering, how long they'd endure
Although it's flutter seemed radiant and alive
It's subtle heart, would no longer thrive
The forest was confound, though they grieved
Their hearts were sold, many thought thieved
By a creature of such beauty, born to die
Her name is grace, a butterfly
