I arrive in this country,
To rumbling earth,
Foreign words everywhere,
None I can understand,
The buildings start to crumble,
And I watch as the city falls,
Everything around me,
Falling as I stand,
And suddenly, all is silent,
I breathe in a load of dust,
Hearing sirens around me,
As I’m pulled from within,
This crumbled city, all dead and gone,
As it will be left for centuries,
And become a long lost city,
Like those thought were pretend.
