On a pearly night I saw something bright,
Won't know what it is, till it gets light.
I didn't know, I couldn't see,
Was something creeping up on me?
I turned around,
There was no sound.
A splash, a fish, I made a wish,
Catch it, then I'd have a dish.
To have some food would be divine,
My tummy rumbles all the time.
I lost the fish, tears filled my eyes.
I cried and cried then I went inside,
I found you when the light was near,
We cuddled close to calm the fear.
