The Day I Met A Dragon

Excellence Award in the 'Horizon of Dreams 2018' competition

A long time ago Will, Kate, Jennifer and Bella were asleep and they went sleepwalking into a time machine and they woke up in a strange planet called Plodoodoo. They saw a dragon and kept it. As soon as they got there, the sky was very dark. An army of goblins surrounded the dragon, two of them were named Jack and Daniel. The goblins tried to put a cage on the dragon called Mr Phillip. But the dragon burned the cage down. Suddenly a UFO grabbed the dragon and Will, Kate, Jennifer and Bella were swept away to Jupiter by the UFO. When they got there, they saw their friend who was a dog called Quay. Quay barked at an elf called Mason. Then the elf showed the four kids and their special dog and dragon a secret cave underground. The cave had diamonds and a treasure chest that contained gold. Also in the cave was a little river but under the river was an ocean and Will and Kate’s mum and dad were detectives there. The friendly elf Mason showed them a room and in the room there were lots of scuba diving things, everyone put bathers on and swam to the ocean. What they did not know was that a scary rock bomb snake had lived there. Quickly the snake popped up and everyone had to swim back into the cave. But the rock bomb snake blocked the entrance with hard mud and rocks. The dragon and Kate and Will’s mum and dad had some weapons and helped the dragon break the rocks. Then they took their mum and dad back with them in the time machine to go home to Earth. When they got back to Earth, they told everyone that alien life is real and then everyone wanted to go to Plodoodoo, the strange planet faraway in space. Every other day, people kept on trying to go to Plodoodoo until the last day of the year. A kid called Nick and his family went to a new planet called Logsee. The end
