Excellence Award in the 'Horizon of Dreams 2018' competition
The corners are filled with dust,
As they are things of the past,
Forget them, you must,
As they never truly last.
A vase sits on a table,
With flowers starting to bloom,
Much like your love,
As it spreads to guests in each room.
Although the house has it’s fractures,
And cracks in the floor,
There is nothing more beautiful,
Than it’s many unique flaws.
Although you may envy,
The houses that appeal more,
Remember you have shelter,
That protects you from the storm.
