The waiting room, isolated from the world
with distraught and distress, is a setting far from exemplary
Sorrow and despondency pervade the air with recoiling dread,
covering the room like a blanket, indelicately smothering all
aspiration and hope.
People draped across chairs; faces streaked with tears,
clothes stained with blood.
Torment and affliction are carelessly exposed and
pure dissatisfaction is knowingly but unwillingly expressed
Discontentedly waiting.
Waiting for certainty and truth to be handed to them
The white robes and solemn face insinuate the news
no longer wanted to be heard.
