Excellence Award in the 'Horizon of Dreams 2018' competition

Do go to bed they're saying,
but do they knows what's there?
In the crowd of darkness,
or shrieking through the air?

What's that beyond the bedrail?
There could be miles of crocodiles with big sharp teeth.
Don't forget the shadows in the hallway.
Were the parents never scared?

Now go to bed this instant.
But when the lights turn out, that's when the things come out!
