There I was at Parramatta Lake
The huge grey gum tree
Overshadows the body of water
The lake was peaceful and statue still
I could see a family of docks paddling on water
The twigs were crunching under my feet
As I took steps closer towards the water
I hesitantly took a step in the water
The freezing, cold water pierced through my skin
As chill went down my spine
The sound of the birds that were singing
Comforted me as I sat
On the hard, flat rock
The leaves were swirling from the wind
I was smiling to the beautiful lake
