Black as ash,
White as snow,
Eyes green as emeralds that glitter and glow.
Walking and stalking,
A shadow appears and
Darkens the night.
Growling and hissing in the night
What is out there in the darkness?
Scratch, scratch, scratch,
What was that?
Everyone is frightened
What is out in the night?
There in the darkness
Mysterious creature?
Let’s find out.
Everyone looks at the creature and sees
Green eyes peeking out of the shadows.
“Meow” cried a voice
“It’s a cat” cried everyone.
