3rd in the 'Believe It Or Not 2001' competition
I think Nicole’s at home on her own
I know I’ll get her on the phone,
Her parents’ pick up saying... she’d done something real bad,
They kicked her out of home.
I jump to my feet
And start searching the street,
We finally meet.
She’s in such a state
She cries into my shoulder,
Mumbling something about a girl called Kate,
I tell her to stay with me because she’s my best mate.
I tell my mum but that only makes her sad,
Then Nicole feels bad,
I think her parents are mad!!!
They explained what she did,
That’s why they got rid
Of poor Nicole, I mean, she’s only a kid!
