My cat lies as flat as a mat,
With eyes as blue as the sky,
It is beautiful and soft,
I wish I could fly.
As dull as death,
You will hear my cry,
As the pitch black sky,
War rages on as I lie.
As explosions break the silence,
And brighten the night,
You will hear the dead cry,
What a sad life.
As the car speeds along,
My heart is as bare as a lair,
As cold as the North Pole,
It goes bang like a firework.
