Here To Stay

A hundred thousand years ago,
the earth was filled with ice and snow.
In the midst of the cold there lay
a dragon that was here to stay.
Her scales shone bright and icy blue
Her spines were sharp and icy too.
In the snow, then she slept
never to be disturbed, never to be met.
To this day, her cold form lays
In the snow, here to stay.
