I wish I could have a unicorn
With a bright pink horn
To keep in my room
And have no gloom
But is there such a thing?
Or is it just a dream?
My parents say it’s too expensive
But I am very defensive
Is there something wrong with having a wild imagination?
The whole nation believes
That unicorns are fake
But I know that somewhere, somewhere in the world
There must be a lake with the prettiest unicorns
That I can have to keep
And then I will leap with joy
Until then, I shall play with my toy unicorn…
