Get ready to say your sorrowful farewell
As the brink of death starts to dwell
Say goodbye to your family hope they end well
As this day is forgotten there is no funeral bell
As you look back at life what would you say
Would you say goodbye and continue on your way
Would you fight so you wouldn’t go this day
As you think of this in that lonely bay
You watch as a shot pierces your heart
This day didn’t have a great start
Or ever as this day would part
The silent bullet is just like a dart
With you as a human dart board
Then lightning fast it cuts the final cord
And just like that you start to fall
Bye bye soldier hope you had a ball
