Barking for love

Eating, sleeping, going for walks and getting patted,
That is the life of a dog in one day or more.
One dog in fact, my dog, Brittany.
She's more loyal than Lassie,
She waits at the door for us to come home.
She's more friendly than a tame bird,
Never bitten a soul.
Fetching balls and going for walks are among her favourite things,
But most of all, she loves life, her life.
When friends come around she thinks they're for her,
But they're her best friends if they have food.
So truly, this dog is man's best friend.
