Give me a reason to leave,
Give me a reason to leave.
The shallow depths of water are far below my knees
Just a gush of wind, and a silent fall will end it all
I can feel your enmity inside of me
But you tell me it isn’t true
Is it all in my head? Is the world absurd?
I can no longer feel the truth
The boulder up the hill is a tiresome pain
The odyssey lacks depth, yet you refuse to swallow
Coerce me down, sink beneath each wave
Leave me to falter and endure the same
If you leave me, I can leave too
Just give me a reason to leave
